Time and workload permitting, we occasionally accept select design projects from our established customers. These projects include ads, brochures, catalogs, CD covers and book design. On smaller projects, such as posters and banners, we include up to 20 minutes of design in the price of the printing. Larger projects, and projects that result in outside printing, are billed at our hourly rate. This hourly rate includes whatever scanning, photography, CDs, DVDs, uploads and proofing your project requires. Finished displays, posters, banners, etc. are billed separately. Design work is delivered on CD or DVD in either Adobe InDesign or Photoshop native files and PDF files.
We do not out source, vend or act as an agency or printer’s agent. If we can not print your project, we will send you directly to the best source for that service.
Location photography for ads, posters and displays is available at our hourly rate plus expenses. This rate includes the ownership of all images made on the shoot. Digital images are taken with professional cameras in resolutions up to 12 MB. 4X5 scanbacks and HID lighting is not portable, therefore location copy work is done with 4x5 film and portable electronic flash. Films, scans and any prints and proofs generated will be handed over to the customer at the end of the project. All film work requires a materials deposit. Whenever possible, we encourage you to bring your art or products to our studio.
We maintain extensive files of our own stock island images. These images are available to our clients for illustrative purposes in projects we design.
